Leveraging a reset to spring design forward.


Inheriting a legacy design often means inheriting design and technical debt. As the complexity of the old experience compounded, Umbrage’s product team made the strategic decision to pause further development on The Coca-Cola Company’s internal data analytics platform, rebuild a new technical architecture, and revamp the user experience. I led a team of product designers to create an improved information architecture, refactor the design system, and elevate the aging brand expression to create a more flexible and scalable platform experience.

USAA
Designing trust across an auto ownership lifecycle.


USAA needed to translate an enterprise-scale experience strategy into a tangible, end-to-end MVP that reimagined the auto ownership lifecycle across financial and service touchpoints. Together with our Bain partners, I helped set the experience vision, led a multi-level design team, and partnered closely with senior stakeholders to reduce risk, align decision-makers, and deliver a credible proof of concept that unlocked executive confidence and investment.

Carlisle Construction Materials
Creating a unified, job-centric platform.


Umbrage created Pro-1, an integrated platform that reimagines how Carlisle contractors, reps, and internal support teams work, anchored to the job, aligned by role, and built for clarity and speed. It unifies all tools under a single branded experience, purpose-built for Carlisle’s full product suite.​ I helped the design team formulate a new cohesive brand language, leverage AI to concept key user flows, and assemble multi-device visualizations to convey the ubiquitous nature of this platform experience.

Dominion Energy
Reimagining electric service for moments that matter.


Virginia-based utility provider Dominion Energy worked with Umbrage’s parent company, Bain, to create a future vision of Dominion’s digital journey, leveraging key customer events as a backdrop. Umbrage was enlisted to bring this concept to life, providing journey maps, recommended feature enhancements, and functional prototypes to demonstrate a fully-integrated and modernized customer experience. I worked directly with our Research and Product teams to deliver an entirely new product experience and visual direction.
